Learning by doing: how experiential learning works at Kamber

Kamber is built around experiential learning. Here is what that means in the classroom and why it suits working professionals.

Kamber Business School is an experiential-learning school based at Paya Lebar Square in Singapore. Rather than relying on lectures alone, our programs ask participants to apply ideas to real problems, reflect on the results and try again.

What it looks like in practice

  • Case studies drawn from real organizations and industries
  • Practical assignments that participants apply to their own work
  • Simulations and group exercises that test decisions under pressure
  • Capstone projects that produce something useful, such as a transformation roadmap or a research paper

Why it suits working professionals

Experienced professionals bring knowledge that a textbook cannot. Experiential learning puts that experience to work: participants learn from each other as much as from faculty, and they can use what they learn at work the following week.

This approach runs through both of our current programs, from the capstone roadmap in the Chief Digital and AI Officer program to the research paper at the heart of the Executive Research Fellowship.
